SPT Labtech Mosquito HV Liquid Handling Platform

The SPT Mosquito HV (manufactured by SPT Labtech) is an automated, high precision liquid handler designed to bridge the gap between nanoliter and micrometer pipetting. It ia widely used in genomics, PCR preparation and drug screening.

Features:

• True Positive Displacement Technology: Unlike traditional air-displacement pipettors, the Mosquito HV uses disposable micropipettes equipped with individual pistons. This eliminates air gaps and system liquids, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring pinpoint accuracy.
• Handles Any Liquid Class: It excels at pipetting highly viscous fluids (like glycerol) and volatile solvents without sacrificing precision.
• Assay Miniaturization: By accurately scaling down reaction volumes (such as NGS library preparation), it helps laboratories significantly reduce reagent waste and cut costs.
• High Throughput: It features a rapid plate-to-plate pipetting motion and is compatible with 96-, 384-, and 1,536-well plate formats
