The Multiphor II electrophoresis system is a versatile modular system for horizontal electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, 2-D electrophoresis and electophoretic transfer. 

Features:
    Buffer Tank is made of polypropylene, which is resistant to nearly all chemicals at room temperature.  Buffer tank contains four pin contacts 
    Cooling plate - ceramic (aluminum oxide) measures 210x270mm, supports the gel, and provides uniform temperature control.
    Safety Lid - polycarbonate lid snugly fits the contours of the buffer tank

    Max Pressure Cooling plate- 0.5 bar
    Environment - +4- +40 degrees C, 20-95 % relative humidity
    Chemical resistance- wetted parts are resistant to solvents commonly used in electrophoresis and solutions containing inorganic and organic acids, alkalis and alcohols.

Adjustable electrodes allow use of different sized gels up to 20 × 26cm
Select from a wide range of precast gels or cast gels for unique applications
Run up to 12 IPG strips (7–24cm) simultaneously
Allows cooling of ultra-thin gels efficiently and uniformly, through the ceramic cooling plate, for improved resolution and speed at high voltages
Particularly well-suited for ultra-thin gels (0.1-0.5mm) on glass or plastic supports
Also compatible with various types of buffer strips, eliminating the need for large volumes of liquid buffers
