The Booster20A module increases the maximum current of the PGSTAT302N to 20 Ampere. The compliance voltage of the system is 20 V in combination with the Booster20A.

With its fast response time, the Autolab Booster20A has been optimized to perform electrochemical impedance measurements, in combination with the FRA32M module, on fuel cells, batteries and super-capacitors. The booster is able to handle active as well as passive cells. The Booster20A can be used to measure the charge and discharge characteristics of super-capacitors, perform measurements on fuel cells or perform DC or AC measurements on large area electrodes.

Compliance voltage range in volt 20
Maximum bandwidth in Hz 20 k
Maximum current in ampère 20
Maximum power in watt 350
Potential range in volt 10

A potentiostat is an electronic instrument that measures and controls the voltage difference between a working electrode and a reference electrode. It measures the current flow between the working and counter electrodes.
This instrument is fundamental to modern electrochemical studies for investigations of reaction mechanisms related to redox chemistry and other chemical phenomena. Potentiostats control most electroanalytical experiments. They can be used to test for electrochemically active compounds and microbes in solution
