MJ Research PTC200
Thermal Cycler - Dual 48 well block

Description:

MJ Research PTC-200 is a DNA-Engine is equipped with an Interchangeable sample blocks and heat pump assemblies allow the user to change format easily between runs while retaining NIST-traceable accuracy.  The PTC200 is a 96 well gradient thermo-cycler that can be supplied with different alpha blocks such as a 96 well or a dual 48-well block. This dual 48-well block allows two independent programs to be run at the same time.  The MJ RESEARCH-PTC-200 PCR also uses the Hot Bonnet to allow oil-free operation. Precise Peltier-effect heat pumps -robustly designed for repeated cycling-- deliver the full temperature range of 0-100C electronically- in a compact instrument with a footprint that measures 24cm x 28cm x 27cm high. Speedy ramping rates of up to 3.0/sec in models that hold 0.2ml tubes or V-well plates; Unparalleled temperature homogeneity: + or - 0.4C within 30 seconds of arrival @ 60C for all standard models. Large memory and amiable software that allows control over virtually every thermal parameter.  Thermal Cycler has 80-character LCD/ menu-driven software- and 200-program memory with individually secured directories.
