Labcaire VLF6 Vertical Clean Air Laminar Flow Cabinet


Bench mounted vertical laminar flow cabinet providing better than Class 100 clean air conditions at the work surface.
Ideal for the single user where clean air is required to protect the product from particulate contamination. The main HEPA filter is installed with the seals under negative pressure to ensure that there can be no leakage in the clean air zone. A hinged front screen provides full access to the cabinet for cleaning and installation of equipment. The lower section can be modified for use with a microscope. The head is manufactured from epoxy powder coated zintec steel and the base from epoxy coated aluminium supports within 6mm acrylic cladding

The Airflow is drawn through a Pre-filter on the top of the cabinet through the fan to a plenum chamber behind the Main filter. The air then passes through the filter at the top of the Cabinet and out of the working aperture.
The filter seals are maintained under a negative pressure so that it is not possible for unfiltered air to
pass the seal into the Cabinet.

Airflow is considered laminar between 0.35 to 0.55 m/sec.
