Genevac EZ-2 Plus Personal Evaporator

The GeneVac Concentrator EZ-2 Plus is a personal evaporator for the removal of solvents in life science research from concentrating to complete drying. This compact system is designed for ease of use, just set it and walk away, and when the run is complete the concentrator shuts down automatically. While in operation, the Dri Pure system activates to protect samples against bumping, while the SampleShield system helps protect against overheating.  To further protect the user and the samples a variety of safeguards are in place such as an out-of-balance and a thermal cut out, as well as only being able to open the lid when the rotor has fully stopped. The smart evaporation software of this speedvac offers great, repeatable results every time.

The GeneVac Concentrator EZ-2 Plus employs a SpeedTrap, a high efficiency, defrost free cold trap that condenses the solvents and protects the environment, with the added benefit of speeding the evaporation. This speedvac concentrator traps the most volatile of solvents, without freezing them (even when working with water) collecting them in a plastic coated, chemically resistant, glass vessel. The clear glass allows users to monitor the collection and choose when they should empty.  The quiet running, vacuum pump of this speedvac evaporator is oil free, ILMAVAC with PTFE diaphragms that are solvent resistant.
