The ACI, manufactured by Copley, is an 8-stage cascade impactor that has been designed for measuring the APSD generated by MDIs and DPIs.

It complies with the specifications laid down in USP Chapter <601>, Ph.Eur. 2.9.18 and ChP 2015.

Stages/Cut-off Diameter at 28.3 L/min -

• -1 = 9.0 micron
• -0 = 5.8 micron
• 1 = 4.7 micron
• 2 = 3.3 micron
• 3 = 2.1 micron
• 4 = 1.1 micron
• 5 = 0.7 micron
• 6 = 0.4 micron
