Description
Defensor Mk5 The optimum solution for every application.The mineral salts precipitated by the evaporation process collect in the scale collector tank, which can be cleaned and used again.
This does not affect the production of steam. Long service lives are guaranteed. Only one to three brief servicing operations are necessary per season, depending on the water composition, requiring the collector tank to be emptied. Servicing only takes a few moments and is easily performed. Interruption in operation is reduced to a minimum.
The twin-walled design, nickelchromium steel and plastic cylinders, produce a pool of cold water in the inlet/outlet zone.
The deposit of scale is prevented. Pipes do not therefore become blocked and the application is robust and reliable.
High modularity:
The Defensor Mk5 series used above all for demanding process and laboratory applications because of its accuracy of control.
Depending on requirements, capacities from 5-80 kg/hr are available to permit a steam production of 0- 100 % to be accuratly controlled.
Simple installation:
The compact construction provides a simple installation. The design ensures that fitting, operation and servicing can be performed easily, quickly and reliably. The feet of the case provide additional security during transport and installation.
For all water qualities:
The resistance heating principle enables the operator to use the Defensor Mk5 with untreated, prepared or fully demineralized water.
High control accuracy:
The technology used for the Defensor Mk5 is based on high control accuracy. The Mk5 Process therefore achieves a control accuracy of ± 2 % and if used with fully demineralised water even as high as ±1 % r.h.

Mineral salts precipitated by the evaporation process are collected in the scale collector tank, which is directly mounted on bottom of the housing; the tank can easily be cleaned and used again. Maintenance and service only takes a few moments and is easily performed. For operation with fully demineralised water a version VE without scale collector tank is available.
Integrated, high quality electronics ensure optimised energy usage, comprehensive operational safety and self-adaptation to the prevailing water conditions.
Command and programming of operational parameters are effected by menu guided 4-line alphanumeric LCD display and keyboard.
