The PowerPac 1000 power supply is perfect for most SDS-PAGE applications. In addition, its programmability makes it ideal for running isoelectric focusing, or experiments requiring step changes in electrophoresis conditions. With sufficient voltage for IEF and sufficient current for multiple PAGE gels, plus the control required for reproducibility, it is the ideal power supply for 2-D electrophoresis. Its current output of 500 mA also makes the PowerPac 1000 power supply ideal for many blotting applications.
The PowerPac 1000 power supply is highly sophisticated in design, yet is very simple to use. The numeric keypad and four multipurpose keys allow programming with minimal time and effort. The graphics LCD shows running conditions in large, easy-to-read numerals. Continuous, timed, or volt-hour controlled runs are also easily programmed
